Brandon Sklenar Breaks Silence on ‘It Ends With Us’ Drama: ‘Disheartening to See the Amount of Negativity’

Brandon Sklenar is standing up for women from behind It Ends With Us amid the film’s recent controversy circulating online.

The actor, who played Atlas Corrigan in the film based on Colleen Hoover’s 2016 best-selling book, took to his Instagram on Tuesday to “address all this stuff that’s been circulating online,” which began when fans speculated about a possible feud between director and star Justin Baldoni and star and producer Blake Lively.

“Colleen and the women in this cast represent hope, perseverance, and women choosing a better life for themselves,” Sklenar wrote in a lengthy statement. “To malign the women who put so much of their heart and soul into the making of this film because they believe so strongly in its message seems counterproductive and distracts from what this film is about.
